PLATEAU ACQUIRES A NEW PRISON CONTROLLER
Samuel Aguda has been appointed controller in charge of the platoon command of the Nigerian Prison Service.
DSP Luka Ayedoo, the Public Relations Officer of Command (PRO), announced Saturday to Jos, reported the NAN.
Aguda replaces Mr. Daniel Odharo, who has been deployed to the service headquarters of the area “E”, in Owerri.
According to PRO, Odharo, former controller, served in the drive for 13 months.
Aguda, a native of the Ise / Orun local government region, in the state of Ekiti, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University, at Ile-Ife.
Prior to his deployment on the Plateau, Aguda was responsible for administration at his headquarters in the Ibadan area.
He added that the new controller had headed the Sagamu, Wamba and Mubi prisons in the states of Ogun, Nasarawa and Adamawa.
He added that Aguda was formerly responsible for the operations and administration of the TCFs and Ekiti State Commands.
Aguda took office with the order.
