FBI captured Hushpuppi from Dubai to US – Lawyer asserts
Lady Pissetzky, legal counselor to Nigerian presumed universal fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, prevalently known as Ray Hushpuppi, has said that his customer was hijacked by the FBI from Dubai and taken to the US.
Hushpuppi and another digital heist suspect, Olalekan Jacob Ponle, otherwise called Mr Woodberry were captured in Dubai, where they lived, in June.
They were later taken to the US where they showed up in a Chicago court on 3 July.
The US and UAE have no current removal settlement yet Dubai police said the two presumed fraudsters were removed to the US.
The BBC cited a representative for the US Department of Justice as saying that Hushpuppi was removed from Dubai and was not removed.
Talking with the BBC, Hushpuppi’s legal counselor Pissetzky, stated, “As I would like to think, the FBI and the legislature here acted unlawfully when they grabbed him from Dubai with no legitimate procedure to do as such.
“There was no removal, there were no legitimate advances taken, there were no court archives documented, it was basically a call to the FBI. He isn’t a resident of the United States, the US had definitely no position to take him.”
Lady Pissetzky had before revealed to Forbes that Hushpuppi, isn’t a fraudster.
Pissetzky said that the web VIP is an authentic businessperson who bargains on land, as indicated by Forbes.
